Vehicle fleet branding that zooms

“Both the graphic technique and innovative installation solution Prisma deployed contributed to the success of the project. To witness the drive thru operation was awe-inspiring. The speed and efficiency Prisma was able to manage was exactly what we needed to keep our pace of work.”

A Unique Opportunity

If your business has a fleet on the road each day, there’s no doubt you’ve considered the brand exposure of custom vehicle graphics as a marketing strategy. When branded, your vehicles become moving billboards for your brand! Pueblo Mechanical, a 20-year-old HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing company had a fleet of vehicles they wanted branded, but didn’t want to take their fleet out of service due to the critical work they perform for their customers. How does a service company get their entire fleet wrapped without taking the vehicles out of commission?

Driving Innovation

Pueblo met with Prisma and presented their unique challenge. No stranger to vehicle fleet graphics, Prisma listened to Pueblo’s needs and developed an imaging and install plan that limited the amount of time the vehicles were off the road. Prisma’s grand format team devised a technique using the Vutek wide format printer to produce a weed and mask production method. This technique takes a solid color block and cuts out individual letters that are exposed when peeling off the surrounding vinyl. The letters are kept in alignment by applying a temporary film over the lettered sheet that is installed onto the vehicles . This solution maximized Pueblo’s budget and more importantly increased their speed to market.

On the Road Again

Once the graphic application technique was devised, Prisma set about planning out the most efficient way to install the graphics on the vehicles. With the goal being the least amount of time off the road, Prisma converted its parking lot into a drive-thru vehicle branding operation. Pueblo drivers took turns pulling up and parking momentarily as the graphics were laid out and applied. Prisma branded 177 vehicles over the course of three days in Phoenix and one day in Tucson. Each driver was back on the road in less than an hour, start to finish.

Prisma approaches every project with the client’s needs in mind. If you’re looking for a partner for your vehicle fleet solutions Prisma is ready to develop a plan that puts your business first.
