Habitat For Humanity
Sometimes, big ideas need a little help.
When you’re building something meaningful, even helpers can use a helping hand. Habitat for Humanity of Arizona, a non-profit program devoted to building safe, affordable housing for everyone, needed help increasing fundraising revenue. Prisma’s team of solution providers rolled up their sleeves and got to work.
By profiling Habitat’s database of past contributors, we gained a clear understanding of who their core donors were. Having this information proved essential to learn how to properly communicate with their best prospects.
We quickly determined who their best donors were and developed a powerfully effective promotional outreach campaign asking for donations valley-wide. The data helped us identify key geographic areas containing the highest concentration of where their best donors lived.
By developing a campaign crafted to make the largest impact, our creative team designed and developed a series of direct mailers that made a lasting impact to a qualified audience.
Prisma’s content and messaging team worked closely with Habitat to ensure the messaging and goal was clear. With each campaign installment, slight adjustments to the targeted list of prospects continued to increase effectiveness, resulting in escalating donations with each tweak. Key performance tracking tools allowed us to measure donor response for each campaign.
The results were astounding.
Habitat for Humanity of Central Arizona broke a new annual fundraising record of $4.5 million, surpassing Habitat’s highest ever performance of $4.1 million over previous donation drives. What’s more, Habitat enjoyed an unheard of 40% increase in net direct mail revenue, while reducing marketing outreach expenses by nearly 75%.
Habitat’s Chief Development Officer, Roger Neuhaus, shared Habitat’s enthusiasm over the campaign’s performance; “Prisma’s support of Habitat has made a real difference for us this year, and we’re so very thankful to count Prisma among our friends!”
Prisma is honored to help clients like Habitat for Humanity of Arizona achieve–and even surpass–their expectations. Building a better world through partnership, collaboration, and relationship marketing creates a strong foundation we can all live with.
